Pennette rigate Barilla n°72 are a versatile pasta shape, designed to pair naturally with a wide variety of sauces, from the simplest recipes to more creative combinations. The ridged surface helps the sauce cling to the pasta and allows it to blend well with the ingredients, enhancing their flavours in every bite. They pair beautifully with the sweetness of tomato, the richness of ragù and the freshness of vegetable-based preparations, as well as creamy sauces and more original combinations. Their versatility also makes them suitable for pasta salads, buffets and cold dishes, offering numerous possibilities in professional kitchens. Made simply with durum wheat semolina milled in Italy and water, they are produced from durum wheat milled in Italy. The 5 kg pack meets the needs of professional kitchens with an intensive pace of service, providing restaurants and catering operations with a generous and practical format that is easy to manage even when preparing large quantities. Cooking time: 10 minutes; for every 100 g of pasta, approximately 1 litre of water and 7 g of salt are recommended. Alternatively, passive cooking can be used: after 2 minutes of active cooking, turn off the heat, cover the pot with a lid and allow the heat of the water to complete the cooking for the required time. This technique helps save energy and reduce CO₂ emissions without compromising the correct cooking of the pasta. Store in a cool, dry place.
