Description

Pecorino Romano PDO cheese in pouch. Long-ripening hard cheese obtained by coagulating whole sheep's milk with the addition of lactic ferment culture, salt and lamb rennet paste. Produced in Sardinia, it's a cheese with a centuries-old tradition. The paste is compact, white or slightly straw-coloured. The typical fragrance of sheep's milk is perceptible in its aroma. Suitable for grating.
