Pecorino Fioretto Cappato Nero Sepi Formaggi is a traditional Sardinian cheese, made with pasteurized whole sheep's milk, salt, and rennet. Its truncated-cylindrical mule-back shape encloses a crumbly, grainy pasta, with sparse eyes and a delicately salty flavor, perfect for enjoying alone or as a protagonist in appetizers and cutting boards. The outer crust is smooth and thin, dark to black in color, which contrasts elegantly with the straw-yellow inner crust. On the nose it releases vegetal and floral scents, recalling the Sardinian pastures and the local cheesemaking tradition. Thanks to its versatile structure, this pecorino is suitable for serving in cubes, flakes or slices, ideal for gourmet dishes, salads or rustic accompaniments.
