The story of this chocolate is rooted in more than a century of Italian tradition signed by Luigi Zaini. After the founder’s passing, his wife Olga Zaini took the helm of the company with determination, establishing herself as one of the few female figures in the confectionery industry of her time. With vision and pragmatism, she built a workplace with a strong female presence, so much so that the factory was affectionately known as “la fabbrica dei tosan.” Before entrusting the business to her sons Vittorio and Piero, she dedicated this chocolate to Emilia, the nanny who cared for her children and allowed her to devote herself fully to the company. A name that still represents gratitude, identity and memory today. That same idea of balance and solidity, which enabled the company to span generations, is reflected in this dark chocolate with a minimum of 50% cocoa. The percentage is carefully calibrated to express harmony: the intensity of the cocoa is present yet measured, supported by a balanced sweetness that makes the aromatic profile rounded and versatile.
